Return of the Shiv Build

Stoneybaby Hello, I'm Eskel from Gone rogue. I've been invited to reinforce the BHB crew and write about our favorite and - let's face it! - the best class in World of Warcraft. Who dominates the dps charts in Your guild's Sunday Naxx run? Who mercilessly destroys all his oponents in Arena's every bracket? It's obvious - death knights! paladins! rogues! So sit back, relax, grab yourself a glass of Lynchburg Lemonade and read on.
It happened. The Shiv Build is back and kicking. Even though Blizzard doesn't want us to use Shiv as a primary combo point builder, even though they want rogues to be a physical (and not nature!) damage dealer class - it happened. 3.0.9 made the Shiv build not only viable, but also very powerful (5.5K dps on ye olde Patchwerk). So, Ladies and Gentlemen, without further ado let me introduce you to the abomination that is the Shiv build:
18/51/2 (feel free to swap filler Combat talents to your liking)
If you want to give this a try get yourself a fast dagger (like Webbed Death) with Wound poison for your main hand and a fast non-dagger (like Hailstorm) with Instant poison for your offhand. You build combo points with Shiv (duh) and use xSxRxE rotation. Your most important stat is AP. Reach the Poisons Hit Cap. Agility is not recommended.
My personal opinion on it? It's a travesty! I hope 3.1 fixes this situation. Come on. It's ridiculous.
If you want more information on the subject take look at this discussion at the Elitist Jerks forums.

As of 3.1
Shiv: This ability can no longer generate a critical strike, and the poisons it applies cannot be critical strikes either.
Will this still be a viable build after that change?
