Pre-Raid Enhance Gear
Monday, March 30, 2009 at 11:38PM | Stoneybaby Gearing yo’sef pre-raid seems to be all the rage these days on BHB. I supposed it’s high time I threw my hat in the ring on behalf of the Enhancers. If you’re rolling as Enhance and are looking for pre-raid gear to maximize your DPS then look no further, the list is here. What follows are the Best in Slot items available pre-raid. Of course once you hit Naxx or VoA you can replace these lovely low ilevel items right away. But until then, hit the heroics and get yourself some gear!
For each slot I’ll list the top three options: one from crafting and two from any of drops, rep, or Emblems of Heroism. In parenthesis I’ll list the EP score using EP values for the newly minted level 80 Enhancer in 3.1. What does that mean? It means Hit and Expertise are heavily weighted assuming the toon is neither Hit nor Expertise capped, and both Haste and Armor Pen are increased to their post-3.1 values. The EP values are useful to compare whether it’s best better to grind out rep, run that heroic endlessly, or pay mats for the crafted item.

Heh, this was nicely timed - just hit 80 on my Enhancer tonight!
Thanks for putting the list togther - looks like hit won't be quite as hard to scrape together as I had expected.
Personally, I aimed for Helm of the Shrine (http://www.wowhead.com/?item=43311) when I hit 80. Never got it, but tried nonetheless :p.
