Retribution Paladin Specs 
It you take a look at these builds there are certain talents that are always included. If you decide to strike out on your own and craft up a wacky, unique spec make sure to include the backbone of Retribution - Divine Strength, Conviction, Vengeance, Judgements of the Wise, Repentance, Crusader Strike, and Divine Storm. It is that solid foundation upon which true Retribution specs are built. If any of those are omitted, I'd venture to say that you might be better off investing heavily in another tree. PvE Builds
0/17/54 - Raid synergy This build takes all the damage-increasing talents in the retribution tree and reaches down the protection tree for Divine Sacrifice and Divine Guardian. This gives your group/raid an extra tank-saver cooldown to use, and doubles your Sacred Shield duration so that you can keep yourself shielded with less babysitting of your buffs.
11/5/55 - Maximum damage This build scrapes every single last bit of damage out of your paladin. Aura Mastery can be used to boost the feedback damage of Retribution Aura for a short period; Divine Intellect ups Exorcism's crit rate a tiny bit and slightly increases Divine Plea returns. Plus, Seal of Command and Seals of the Pure give you options should Seal of Blood/the Martyr be a dangerous idea on any given fight.
PvP Builds
0/17/54 - Selfish BG'er It's got most everything a PvP ret paladin would want. Divine Purpose. Vindication. Stoicism. Improved Hammer of Justice. It's even got Seal of Command for those who can't let the roulette wheel go. This build sacrifices 3% haste on auras to bring all of that to the table.
0/19/52 - Sacrificial Arena Guardian Divine Sacrifice/Divine Guardian combined with almost all the ret utility talents (Vindication, Divine Purpose) and almost all the damage talents (missing 3% haste and a point in Sanctified Wrath) brings a fairly well balanced team player to the table. This build (or something like it) would be good for arena play on a healer team.
0/10/61 - Beserker Screw protection utility talents. This build grabs everything in retribution in an effort to simply decimate the opponent before he/she can muster a response. Just like any good berserker, though, the defenses on this build are lacking.
